Property Invasion, Damages, Trespass defending property rights

Did you ever tell your neighbor about the problem with their dog going on your property? Give them a warning? Did your CAT ever trespass on someone else's property? And you killed it with a BB gun, you didn't think that was possible as you must have fired it at a pretty high velocity. It...

    Violation of Community Control

I'd come prepared, and with the full possibility that you may have to see the Judge. If possible, you should also bring your attorney. . . although his advice seems ODD to say the least about not going home. . . that's kind of an ostrich approach, which usually doesn't end well for the ostrich. . .

Property Invasion, Damages, Trespass defending property rights

You should take the deal, imo, because if I was the Judge I'd give you the maximum allowable.

    Violation of Community Control

Interesting advice. Can your friend go before the Judge and explain what happened, or write a sworn affidavit on your behalf?

    I was attacked last night.

I agree with Jacksgal, your "friend" needs help one way or another. Time has passed, has he given an excuse? if it were me, i'd tell the police, if not odds are this kind of unprovoked lunacy will continue.

Burglary, Arson, Home Invasion 18 year old charged with two counts of 2nd Degree Burglary

People fall for that all the time. It's effective. And, yes, you shouldn't have done that.

Arrest, Search, Seizure, Warrant Charged for Petty Theft BF commited Warrant 4 years old

Just because you were "made" to do something doesn't mean you didn't do it. If someone points a gun to your head, and tells you to drive through a flock of nuns or else he'll kill you, and you do it, you are still to blame for the damage you cause. The "he made me do it" defense pretty...

Burglary, Arson, Home Invasion 18 year old charged with two counts of 2nd Degree Burglary

I agree that you need a lawyer, as there is a lot of grey area in what you posted. Later you say you do not know what to expect. This is true. What you are discussing, this letter, is allocution (fancy word for apology). You do this at sentencing, not at trial. Also, you should keep it to...

Criminal Records, Expungement Texas – Question on Expunged Records

I don't know about in Texas, but in Michigan they are kept. Just because something is expunged, doesn't mean it goes away forever. If you get arrested again, it, in a sense, un-expunges your previous crime. i.e. if you expunge 1st DUI, if you get another DUI you'll be charged with you 2nd.

Drug Crimes, Substance Abuse Paraphenelia charge

I take it the parephenalia was written up as a misdemeanor and not a civil infration or "ticket." I totally disagree with lsushawn. You should hire an attorney, or at least consult with one. Many will give you a free consultation. If the boyfriend takes ownership of the parephanalia you...

Drug Crimes, Substance Abuse Friend in trouble with Marijuana

This all matters a great deal as to the location of the "crime." Regardless, it'll save you money in the long run to follow seniorjudge's advice and get an attorney. If you are a student, many colleges have systems set up to help with your legal woes at a next to zero cost to you.

Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft petty theft of a minor

Yes then you are guilty of whatever you are accused of. Perhaps theft. Then when you go to get a retail job, or whatever you may wish for in College, you have to tell the Store that you stole from the last one that hired you. You get a chance of a reduction, getting it totally kicked...

Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft petty theft of a minor

NO! If it is a misdemeanor, you need to plead not guilty at arraignment. Even if it is a civil infraction there are certain reasons not to plead guilty. If possible, consult an attorney.
