Drug Crimes, Substance Abuse Doctor Shopping in California

Unfortunately, I don't know that much about the case. He was arrested in 1998, stopped drug use in 1995. I'm not sure of his punishment, either. He was arrested, 1 month later seemingly fell off the face of the earth. I knew him in a professional capacity, he wasn't a friend. After I...

    Parole, Probation Conditions of Probation

Criminal Record alone is a bit ridiculous. The term is usually "known felons."

Arrest, Search, Seizure, Warrant Motel search/seizure no warrant drug task force

I'm probably way out on this one. . . but maybe you could contact the FBI.

Arrest, Search, Seizure, Warrant Motel search/seizure no warrant drug task force

I would think the decision to indict would be on the prosecutor, and not some narcotics cowboy. I do believe you when you say they are corrupt. The "Tri County Narcotics Squad" around where I live have "settled" countless times, and are basically a bunch of men-boys who have seen to many...

=( Sorry for the inappropriate comment. I was hoping it was deleted. I behaved badly for a small period on the boards here, and apologize to all those offended.

Criminal Records, Expungement need some good advice

There are open AA meetings your family can go to in order to understand you more, as well as Al-Anon. . . What does your attorney think about all of this? The Prosecutor playing games by extending the time for trial/etc. is probably pissing the Judge off. Most like to keep a speedy docket.

Alcohol & Drugs: MIP, MIC, Intoxication Inneffective Assistance of Counsel

Maybe fastest to contact the attorney, tell him what you know, and tell him you are thinking of filing a grievance against him unless he refunds your money. A grievance will cause him all kinds of hell, probably be best for him to pay you.

Please Help, i think im being intimidated by 3rd party

It's a judgement call. At the very least never do business with him again. If it is causing significant anxiety, then I'd go to the police. Odds are that he's bluffing, though. Probably has seen to many episodes of The Sopranos.

Criminal Records, Expungement need some good advice

I'll try to answer this more in depth later, I have to leave soon. But, Almost all defense attorneys waive the right to a speedy trial. It's one of the first things they do.

Can a Juvenile be Charged as an Adult for theft?

It's important you made restitution, the courts will look favorably upon that. I know of people who have done similar things, and they didn't serve prison time, but had to do an amazing amount of community service, and keep clean for 5 years with testing, etc. Are you military? That may help...

Alcohol & Drugs: MIP, MIC, Intoxication restricted license?

When you apply for a new license in Ohio, they'll most likely want you to be able to obtain a "Clean" license from Indiana. There is reciprocity to prevent people who get a license suspended/revoked from one state to simply apply and get a new clean license from another State. However, I...

Heh heh. I couldn't pay my rent, there was no other way. Good Catch.

Alcohol & Drugs: MIP, MIC, Intoxication Notice to appear in court for giving alcohol to person under 21-562.11

If you are interested in going into teaching, for example, this is a huge deal and you should hire a top defense attorney. Last I checked, this conviction will disqualify anyone from teaching in my State.

I'm not sure I'm reading this right, but the officer should have also had the retainer removed.
