    Federal Conviction

Yes. I have very little knowledge about this, but Especially if it is your only conviction. Often times, you have to wait 5 years after your conviction date. I know of States where you can reduce a felony conviction to a misdemeanor, but not sure about Federal. Good Luck.

    fines

Are you on probation? If you are on probation, for say 1 year, then most courts will divide how much you owe by 12, and then you make monthly payments. So, for you it would be $30/month in this example.

Alcohol & Drugs: MIP, MIC, Intoxication Minor Attempting To Purchase Alcohol

I doubt you have anything to worry about. I'm curious, where did you try this? In East Lansing, for example, they ID under 35, and all the Quality Dairies make you hand them your ID so they can scan it. . .

Drug Crimes, Substance Abuse If a major magazine prints my story before trial, will it harm my case?

I think the pro-drug crowd won't side with him, he's way too much on the fringe. Most "pro-drug crowd" people don't equate what they're going through with the Holocaust.

Drug Crimes, Substance Abuse If a major magazine prints my story before trial, will it harm my case?

I think the fact NeoNon considers what he's writing for to be a "Major Magazine" is a sign the Meth is doing its damage. . . NeoNon, what should be the penalty for selling meth to someone below the age of 18?

Alcohol & Drugs: MIP, MIC, Intoxication probation violation?

The Judge will make the ultimate decision. Was he on probation, or parole? When he was sentenced, the Judge may have "suspended sentence" or basically, told/written to him that if he violates probation he'll have to serve an amount in jail. He should consult a criminal defense attorney...

Drug Crimes, Substance Abuse If a major magazine prints my story before trial, will it harm my case?

So, this article is pro crystal meth? People really want to have teeth like the British that badly? Plus, meth labs constantly blow up. Many areas its run by violent gangs. People on it become, well, crazy. From what I've read, I don't feel the urge to help "NeoNon." People with persecution...

Alcohol & Drugs: MIP, MIC, Intoxication Minor in possesion of alcohol in Georgia

You should be able to talk to a criminal defense attorney for an initial consultation and not have to pay anything. hard to know, so many possible circumstances. If the police went so far as to rummage through the house, and you had to post bond(instead of just PR) it seems they are taking it...

Assault & Battery Behind closed doors

IT'S STILL SEXUAL BATTERY. You don't need penetration. You can't go around groping people. and YAH she didn't know what happened to her, she was unconscious! The husband didn't destroy the evidence? SO? Should he get a medal? And who are you in all this? Do you think Mr. All-American...

Assault & Battery Behind closed doors

He commited a sexual criminal offense. What he did was wrong. What the victim does after has no bearing on what he, in fact, did.

Is this harassment or what? What should i do?

Talk to the police officer. If you think it would help, contact a therapist. Note changes you may have, appetite, insomnia, etc. It's not used enough, but you can sue in civil court for "Intentional Infliction of Emotional Distress." Is it a credible threat? I would think it is. He's...

Alcohol & Drugs: MIP, MIC, Intoxication Mip ticket, second offense, blew 0

If you can afford it, get an attorney who thinks this will either be dismissed, or reduced to a civil infraction. I don't know the law in your state, but there may be case law that in order to charge someone with an MIP you need visual evidence or a PBT. Odds are the prosecutor will be...

Alcohol & Drugs: DUI, DWI DUI in a state where I no longer reside

that's a tough situation. One that definately requires a GOOD lawyer(sounds like you didn't have one, previous). Unfortunately, you need to hire an OHIO attorney. Do so as soon as possible, but this time, interview them thoroughly and ask if they've had any cases like yours. Good Luck. If...

Alcohol & Drugs: MIP, MIC, Intoxication Mip ticket, second offense, blew 0

Wow, sounds like that cop was a hard-ass. I guess a good defense would be that you were confused, and the officer intimidated you and you confessed to something you didn't do because that's what you thought the officer wanted to hear. Nervous. Etc. There's a Judge I know that would toss...
