    wrongful termination

You were not "wrongfully terminated" under the law. It's possible that your former employer is giving you a poor reference; there are companies who will pose as a prospective employer and give you feedback about what the company tells them. But in this economy, people are going months without...

    wrongful termination

A "wrongful termination" occurs when an employee is fired in violation or a specific law, not because the firing may be unfair. How is this stopping you from getting hired elsewhere? Are you getting interviews?

My boyfriend bought a house, but I pay for it.

Did you have any legal agreement with him at all?

    EEO makes faulty decision...

Unless your company will provide you with legal representation, you will have to get your own attorney if you are sued. This is not a do-it-yourself project.

    EEO makes faulty decision...

Sorry, I misunderstood your post (admittedly, I didn't read it all as it was way too long anyway). YOU were accused personally or your company was accused?

Did you get a right to sue letter?

    sexist remarks in the workplace

If there are at least 15 employees, the sexually harrassed employee can contact the EEOC. Sexist remarks such as the one you first mentioned don't normally rise to the level of illegal harrassment, although I agree it's rude, unprofessional, and just plain tacky. However, I would try the...

    Unpaid wages?

Yeah, I agree it may not even BE a contract.

    Unpaid wages?

Only an attorney in your state who has reviewed the agreement in full could tell you. It is not a wage and hour law issue, it's a contract issue.

    Supervisor misconduct

Other than the loss of your job (and no, that is not considered "damages"), what monetary damages have you suffered? You cannot sue the company (or the manager, since he was acting "as agent" of the company) for being mistaken or even vindictive. How do you know the supervisor wasn't...

Advice on appeal of texas unemployment termination.

OK, I misunderstood what you were trying to convey. My apologies.

Advice on appeal of texas unemployment termination.

It is not illegal for a worker to be misclassified on the worker's part. If he reports all his income, pays all his required taxes, he is not in violation of any tax law. And yes, employers HAVE been fined for misclassifying employees and been made to pay the back taxes as well...

Advice on appeal of texas unemployment termination.

But even "under the table" is not a violation of law by the worker, only by the employer, as long as the worker reports all income and pays all applicable taxes.

Advice on appeal of texas unemployment termination.

Sure you do. 1. The company was trying to get you to engage in unemployment fraud. 2. The job was totally not as described (this is a more minor factor, but not totally irrelevant). The fact that the work schedule changed is probably not terribly relevant, as employers can do that...

Consumer Fraud Need legitimate WFH job

I haven't found one yet. IMHO, ANY job where you have to pay to work is a scam. Most "work from home" jobs, you get the job FIRST, then maybe you can work from home some of the time (and maybe not). You're better off spending your time making arrangements to handle whatever it is that you...

IRS Imposing Unjust Penalty - How to Fight?

Which all means you find a good tax attorney or enrolled agent to fight FOR you. This is not something you want to try yourself.

I think that this is illegal, but is it?

You're going to find a lot of the same responders on multiple employment law forums. Same answer you got on the other forum on which you posted.

Prev. Working PT but Denied UI Because Not Looking for FT Work

I agree, sometimes AJ goes off on us. :) I think you have a decent chance in your appeal, but you might want to get the advice of an employment law attorney in your state to formulate your argument.
