How is the divorce proceeding? Do you both have attorneys? If so then that would be a question for your attorney.

Your post doesn't seem to match up with the document you posted. He was convicted of only one count and got 12 years. This is two years old news now - if your cousin's attorney did not file an appeal of the conviction then there was probably no legitimate reason for it.

Obviously the jury did not agree with your assessment. If there is a legal reason then his attorney can consider filing an appeal. There is nothing YOU can do.

You should have SOME clue about what IS and what IS NOT relevant to the situation. The time you took lunch, for instance, is a detail (along with many others) that add nothing to the story, do not assist anyone in answering you, and just make reading your tale a chore.

There's a big difference between an arrest and a conviction. If the courts and judges are all against you, as you seem to think, no one would be offering you an ACD - you'd simply be convicted at trial. Which is what's probably going to happen when and if you DO go to trial.

Why have an attorney? I have been through a divorce and I didn't go asking questions about it on a website - I asked my attorney and got the correct answers. If you don't like hearing that sorry - it's the best legal advice anyone can give you.
