Just was curious if there were any grandfather clauses on any kind of tax laws or even something that would make her pay less since the house is so old.... I'm just researching all the different ways we can solve this without having to sell.
My grandmother lives in NJ, and property taxes have gotten so high that she has been forced to move out of our family's house, because she can no longer afford the taxes.
The house was built by my family in 1892, and is considered historical. The historical society will not take the house...
