Late paychecks, resulting in late fees.

What do you mean? I am not living paycheck to paycheck, and my employer is not responsible for my bills. However they haven't paid me in a month. They've missed two paychecks, about to be a third. This has serious consequences, how long am I expected to hold out?

Late paychecks, resulting in late fees.

Vermont is a no cause state for firing though, I am afraid that if I take this up with them I will simply be fired for "other" reasons... Is there a way I can go about this, without having that happen?

Late paychecks, resulting in late fees.

Recently my company had unexpected issues with payroll, resulting in late/no paychecks for the entire company. I am now at the capacity of what I can pay for out of pocket. I am owed two back paychecks. My bills are all late due to not getting paid, resulting in late fees and overdraft fees...

How do I deal with DCF and false allegations? How do I get juvenile records?

Unfortunately, I am on my own in this. I cannot afford an attorney, nor do I qualify for assistance. The judge is on record in 2016 saying that the case brought by DCF was absurd, and that they were wrong for bringing it to court in the first place. How do I get those records? It is a sealed...

How do I deal with DCF and false allegations? How do I get juvenile records?

In 2016, the Department of Children and families filed against me due to a false report from a former roommate. The report was vile and blatantly untrue.however DCF proceeded with it. The judge saw how absurd the claims were, found me "not guilty," threw them out of court, and said that the...

Trying to fill out paperwork properly.

What? No. What I am offering is not legal advice at all. I am not practicing law, unauthorized or authorized, and what I am doing is far from illegal. It is stated very clearly what legal advice is and is not. Legal advice is not. I am not asking (or offering) opinion. I am not giving advice...

I'm assisting a friend fill out paperwork, and had a question about the page attached. She's the one filing for divorce. Does she still count her husband as "Applicant B" or does she leave this blank? Any other tips about filling out the paperwork properly?

Spiteful neighbor, what can I do?

I think you misunderstood what I said. There are no "latchkey kid" laws, which also means there are no laws against "latchkey" kids.

Spiteful neighbor, what can I do?

Yes, that is an obvious solution. However, it's once a week, for an hour. There are no laws against it, and she has an effective safety plan in place. As a single parent with an 8-5 job, I have to make choices. My three choices to solve that situation myself are: 1) Spend money I don't have...

Spiteful neighbor, what can I do?

I'm not quite sure where this belongs, this seems to be the best fit. However... it has to do with several other things: *Harassment *Theft *Landlord/Tenant rights *Juvenile law I live in an apartment building in Montpelier, Vermont. It started with parking. Neighbors that have lived in the...
