I received an open intoxicant on the street ticket while walking to a college football game earlier this month. I had a keg cup with beer in it and was grabbed by the cops. The cop let me off on underage, but I still got the $300 open intoxicants on a public street ticket. I have never received a ticket or gone to court so I don't know what to expect. My court date is on Oct. 30 and although it is not mandatory I figure I should go. I'm not trying to contest the ticket, but do you think I can get the ticket price lowered? And if so, how do I go about it? Also, they can't charge me for underage in court, can they? If you could get back to me as soon as possible that would be great. Thanks
