If a vehicle runs into a brick wall is it still considered a collision? Or must two or more vehicles be moving and phsically encounter each other to be defined as a collision?

If you had bothered to read your policy you would have found that the policy defines collision as the "upset of your covered auto. or its impact with another vehicle or object."

That's actually quoted from a North Carolina auto policy from my insurance reference library, though it's a pretty universal definition in the insurance industry.

A brick wall is an "object."

Hitting with your car is a collision.
