Want to keep my son safe.

I live in Florida, My son was in Georgia. I have emergancy custody of him at present due to her getting arrested for child endangerment. I want full custody of him. I was informed I have to go threw Georgia to do this. and that if she wanted she could come get him now if she wanted. I tried lawyers here they told me nothing theyy could do. Can you help me? I want to keep my son safe.

Who has jurisdiction here? If the orig divorce custody issue was in Georgia, they probably have jurisdiction. Social Services does not always do whats best for the child, meaning they could always turn custody over back to mom without a court order. You should call around for a GA attorney willing to help you. I would NOT surrender custody over to mom again without a court order but you really need an attorney.
