Thinking about going for 100% Custody

I flatly do not believe you want 100% custody because you are seeing your "child be hurt by this." You totally lost me when you said you wanted 100% custody but you are worried about losing your child support. That just smacks of "cash for kids" attitude. You either want 100% custody because...

Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft 2nd offense 7 years after adjudication withheld...

When you go in to plead guilty or not guilty you will ask for a public defender. Please explain this civil suit letter? It makes no sense to me. If it does not apply to the shoplifting charge please make another thread out of it.

    Double-rent

I suppose by legal you mean can he do it, because it obviously isn't a crime. If you agreed to move out on March 15th then that is the date that you have to move out. If he has the property lease on or before that date, you only owe him a penalty for the days that his property is empty. If...

    Child support is killing me!

Welcome to a man's world. Most of the time its a man paying that ridiculous amount and a woman that doesn't care. I hope you get it reduced to something reasonable, just like I do for the men who are in that predicament.

How do I respond to a motion to set aside a default divorce decree

No, law isn't a matter of filling in the blanks of form motions. As I said in my first post, I would have to see the motion. You are in luck, it is not easy to open a default she might get turned down whether you answer or not. So you met her in a massage parlor and you are upset that she...

Ebay said Get a court order

You would have to sue ebay for liable in California or in Federal court. It isn't easy. You could if you want, write a letter to their registered agent and possibly accomplish the goal. I could help you do it but it would be a bear.

How do I respond to a motion to set aside a default divorce decree

Don't worry about whether or not the notarized signature is ok, the only one who can challenge the signature is your ex. You need to file an answer to the motion. In order to help you do that I would have to see the motion itself.

credit card deliquency statute of limitations

Tapajet, I would respectfully disagree with you. I have about 15 years of experience in credit. DLA is the date SOL goes off of. You can talk to them all you want, you can send letters, but if you pay anything the DLA is updated.

credit card deliquency statute of limitations

The SOL begins on the date of last activity. So on the day you last used it or last paid it. The SOL will be in the state that you are being sued in, so the state that you live.

Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft Armed Robbery, Advice Needed

You should not bring up anything about the marijuana in court. If you do you will be arrested. If you are asked about it directly take the 5th and refused to answer. You may and should testify only to the fact that they held you up at knife point and stole your ipod. If they ask if they...

    paternity and legitimization

Ok Mark, I am in Georgia with you and I have pretty extensive experience in paternity, legitimation, and deprivation/termination actions. So here it goes. The papers she served you are likely for child support. Did she serve you or did DHR serve you? In any case the first thing you need to...

Negligence, Other Injury Pass statute of Limitations, w/ circumstances can I press charges?

It is probably not impossible. Look into the laws that allow adults to sue for acts of molestation done to them as children. There are special SOL conditions for those. This may be able to slip in under those laws.

bad web reviews of my business

It isn't a crime at all. So it wouldn't be a felony. If anything it is a civil tort. He is interfering with your business relationships and you could sue him for it. I would have my lawyer send him another letter saying that he is to stop mentioning your company at all or you will bring suit...

In the end you would have to leave, but you could make them evict you over a period of time.

Lease renewal required 6 months before up?

As usual I agree with Gail. I think a 6 month notice requirement is "unconscionable" and would not be enforced by any court.
