My neighbor trimmed two of my trees without notifying me. Problem is, he not only trimmed the branches over in his property, but also some branches were trimmed back 6' or so on my property. One tree was very close to the property line, so he trimmed all the branches on that side of the tree...
I'm not a lawyer, but I do have a lot of experience with the SSCRA because my husband has been in the Army for 14 years, and has been deployed for the past two years.
You probably can't do anything, because the SSCRA only protects the soldier or sailor - it doesn't protect their dependants...
