getting a deffered ticket
Hey I have this same problem..
What is the proper method to getting a ticket deffered? I already have one ticket on my record that I paid/accepted but I recently received a nasty little ticket.
Do you just select "mitigation hearing," goto court, explain...

If the filing date is more than two business days after the issuance of the ticket, then IRLJ Rule 2.2(d) applies, which says:
When a notice of infraction has been issued, the
notice shall be filed with a court having jurisdiction over the infraction
