This is my story:I somehow ended up on death row at the dog pound of the city of Orange, CA.Some... people adopted me, and returned me because "they didn't know they couldn't have dogs at their place". Before that, I don't know. That's where my human-aunt found me.I was six months old and had a date to "go to sleep forever". She went looking for a dog because her sister (my human-mom) wanted to adopt a pup and Christmas was coming. After checking other dogs, she was amazed by my charm and continued visiting me. When the decision was between me and another dog, she saw the sign. My cage number was 297, the number of their childhood home. That sealed the deal. Finally, I made it out. I was named Simon because... Ask my mom. It's kind of a joke, but the name actually suits me well. But I made it to her place a week before Christmas, so she had to hide me from my mom. Every time she came over, my aunt and the kids had to hide me and hold me in the garage so I wouldn't bark. I had to protect my new home! I also learned on that week that I'm not supposed to pee inside the house. Also, I wasn't supposed to fight with my dog-cousin, Tessa. How would i know that??So I made it until Christmas. That was the day I met my mom. She was so happy to have me, and since then, I've been so happy too because I have a family.I had the best holidays ever! I guess because those were the first holidays I ever had... Oh well!
