I am 26 and very first time offender (shoplifting of less than 500$ clothing in ohio . I went to court for the 1st time and the judge asked me if i have a lawyer, since I couldn't afford one, they assigned me a public defender. I have to apear in court Nov 30th. I am a greencard holder...
