YTA = Expungement? Criminal Records, Expungement

My jurisdiction is: Michigan

Hello,
I was convicted of paraphernalia possession, in july 07. I completed probation and received YTA.

My questions are;

1. Does this mean that there will be no record of the offense?
2. On a job application should i say yes that i have been convicted of a crime? (the job I am/ will be applying for is firefighting so i assume they will be using the states background checking system)
