Shoplifting, Larceny, Robbery, Theft wrongfully accused of theft.

I work for an armored company and I was contacted by some detctives recently about some thefts that apparently been taking place for 8 months. They asked me for a written statement which I was more than willing to give. The next day I took a polygraph that they had set up. After taking the test I was immediately told I failed the test and accused of having knowledge of this theft and interrogated for about 2 hours. None of this makes any sense to me. I have no knowledge of any theft and don't understand why after 8 months a theft is being reported. What should I do wait to be charged I cannot afford a attorney.

Until you are charged ther is nothing you can do. They are conducting an investigation and I suspect your name came up. There is nothing illegal in their actions
