My jurisdiction is: New Hampshire - Rockingham County

I had a will done in 2001 but things have changed since then and I would like to re-write my will myself and get it notorized by a Notary Public. My question is would this will be valid since I would not be using a lawyer and if so, who would be assigned to read it upon my death and who should have a copy of it?

Thank you for your help!

Based on your lack of knowledge, I would strongly recommend an attorney. Usually a simple will only costs around 400. At least have an attorney review it for you.

You will need to sign it in front of two witnesses who will also need to sign. Then all of you go to the notary. You need to name a personal representative in the will. That person should have a copy and the original needs to be kept in a safe place.
