I have/had a friend who I had to report to the police as I was concerned for them and they were also harrasing me at the time. they of course, got a warning and since then we havent spoke until a few weeks ago.
due to an unfortunate case I am now involved in, me being the defendant, the police rang my friend up last night, and left a message asking/saying that there is an ongoing investigation against me and if they want to be involved and provide evidence/statement?
Why on earth would the police ring up my friend who knows nothing about this and has never been involved with me and "the victim" ?
Is it standard procedure and they go through their list of records of my calls to the police or what?
