I am hoping for any suggestions or opinions on why should courts prevent the abuse of legislative power..

Among the suggestions i personally thought of are:

-Uphold doctrine of separation of powers
    -Uphold rule of law
    -Prevent lobby groups

I would appreciate any feedbacks or opinions. Thanks. :)

I'm not sure what you need. Do you think that there shouldn't be a separation of powers? Do you think the courts should not have some ability to uphold the law which they adjudicate? The courts do not specifically prevent lobby groups but may be called into play to determining whether laws have been violated.
