My jurisdiction is: Florida

Can someone please offer some advice? My ex-husband is foreclosing on a condo he purchased while we were still married (but we were separated at the time, so I was not aware of the purchase). My name is not on the promissory note, but I was also served, and I noticed that my signature had been forged on the mortgage paperwork. Should I be concerned that they'll try to come after me for payment of the loan?
 
Yes, they will come after you if your name is on the dotted line.

If your name was forged you need to call the police- file a fraud report and get a hold of the witness that singed the loan docs or the notary-- whoever forged your signature will have hell to pay-- contact the loan company and let them know you did not sign and you wish to file a affidavit of forgery (you must be willing to prosecute your ex)
