I am starting out with westlaw, etc, and have made a lot of headway, but am unable to find online transcripts of oral arguments made before the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals... particularly for a couple of cases dealing with desegregation in CA in thew 1940s.

Anyone know where I can find these, other than at an actual library?

Thanks!

Audio Transcripts Available!

You can actually listen to oral arguments of cases before 9th Circuit Court of Appeals on the Court's own website going back to September of 2007:
http://www.ca9.uscourts.gov/media/?...eld_by=&m_sort_type=DESC&m_page_size=10&m_p=1

as well as read published opinions going back to 2005:
http://www.ca9.uscourts.gov/opinion...d_by=&o_sort_type=DESC&o_page_size=10&o_p=399

In the absence of case numbers or case names and such, I find google to be THE best research tool: I searched for [transcripts arguments 9th circuit court of appeal desegregation cases 1940s] and got quite a favorable response.
