My mother had no will. I am the only child. She has a house in NY and has her accounts in massachusetts, and died in massachusetts. Where do I file the letters of adminstration? And which letters do I file. I don't have enough money to hire an attorney, so, am trying to file the papers myself.
Any help would be appreciated. I am going to have to pay her mortgage soon, and I need to get the ball rolling.
