I noticed that in the case of Epstein he was considered guilty of sex trafficking. And Peter Nygard was indicted in US for sex trafficking charges. Despite the fact that the usual roadside pimp may not have done the same level of crimes as Epstein,are they considered "sex traffickers"?
Let's say I was a tourist in the US and I wanted to look for an escort(21 years old and above of course) through those escort websites, would I be considered an accomplice in sex trafficking? Sex for money is allowed in a few counties in the state of Nevada.

"Sex trafficking of children or by force, fraud, or coercion" is codified in 18 U.S.C. section 1591. If you poke around, you can find other sex crimes in Chapters 109A, 109B, 110 and 117 of Title 18.

Probably not, but it would rather obviously depend on exactly what you did.

I very much doubt anyone considers a garden variety pimp to be a sex trafficker, but I can't rule out the possibility.
