I have a transaction before with a friend that allowed me to sell jewelries and issued her post dated checks as payment for the jewelries(unsold/sold) for 10mos period.It started last August2006, not until last Jan2007,I fell short funding my account & all checks due came bouncing back.We agreed that I shall pay in cash whatever the due was but last July2007 I was moved out from the company I was working leaving me no job at all.despite the situation, she still forces me to pay her & even made a demand letter by herself which she will be filing if in case I failed again to pay her in cash 5 days after I had received her demand letter.What will I do to keep myself from the harrassment?My husband & I have no job & no money to pay our debts.
