My mother held back on paying her rent becuase she was promissed things were gonna get fixed. (If you ask me the house is unliveable anyways because it has bad plumbing problems, minor structral damages, and a huge bug problem.) anyways well now there is a court order pay or quit and my mother doesnt know what to do. She doesnt want to leave because of high cost of living and the house is coviently located to her work. I think she needs to call the heath department or the city inspected to get some more backing. What should she do?

As a landlord you are responsible for your property. If there is things that need to get fixed then fix them. This has gone on for too long and the land lord knows that. What will going to court for this matter do for my mother? Tenents have rights too and you know this if you were are or ever was a judge.
