Was walking home from my job at about eleven at night. I live in what the police consider a drug zone. So they pull up on me and jump out. The ask for my I.D. and which I give them. Then they asked if I have ever been to jail or arresst, and since I have I reply yes. Then he ask if he could search me. I reply no, then he says he has the right to search me because of the time of night(11 pm). So they handcuff me saying it was for the safety of everyone involved. Now that I,m in handcuffs, they run my name, no warrants or nothing comes back. Then he enter my pockets without my permission and find a bag of weed. I never consent to the search. They write me a ticket and release me. Now I have to go to court. What can i do. Isn't this illegal search and seizure.
