What are the inherent powers of the clerk of a county court

In Ohio, for instance, it is Section 1907.101, Revised Code. Where do I find the clear description of the clerks actual responsibilities and place in the chain of process here in Florida? (BTW, I'm not from Ohio... I googled that one and it came right up... lol!)
