Was not sworn in

Hi, I was not sworn in when appearing in front of the judge in the small claims court.

There is a record of that in the transcript. Is that the valuable reason for mistrial?

Court was in Brooklyn, NY.

Probably not. Your being sworn in may not have affected the case... would it? When appealing a case, you usually need to show what errors occurred and how, but for their occurrence, the outcome would have been different.
