My wife is being sued by a junk debt buyer in Oklahoma. We do not know anyhintg about the debt or these people being represented by Love, Beal and Nixon PC. We only found out about it via the court website. A summons has been issued but we still have nothing. She went to the court house but they said they can not serve her but gave a copy of the petition. The address they have is an address from 16 years ago. I know we need to fight this but can we do anything until served? How can we get what we need? What steps do we take after that? Claim was filed on 3-30 so I want to mmake sure it does not show up as a defulat be fore we do something. Can I file a responce and say we do not agree with this before we get served? Also, can I file items for my wife or does it have to come from her or a lawyer?
