I am wondering if a Domestic Violence Protection Order in the state of Washington is violated and the person violating it lives in California if the person would be arrested in California or if they would have a warrant in the state of Washington?

Where did the violation take place? Orders of protection are recognized everywhere. The origin state does not matter.

If I stop someone in New York and they are in violation of a California order then I can arrest them for it and they will be charged in New York.

AGAIN, the complaint would be filed and arrest made in the location where the violation took place.

Thanks. I didn't see that you had written more only the question "Where did the violation take place?"

Well then you need to actually LOOK at posts and not ignore what's written after the first six words.

When I first read it that was all that was written. You must have edited it. Just like you did to your response on my other thread just now.
