My family member who happens to be a pet dog had complications with the delivery of her pups. The only after hours vet hospital performed a cesarean. I phoned to ask if a payment contract could be agreed upon. a recent house fire left me homeless and broke. the pups have buyers and the sales totalled more than enough to cover vet bill. I was told yes and to go to vet hospital. once there I was told by office staff she only said yes to contract as the vet was busy. really the answer was no. the hospital wouldn't allow my dog to leave without paying bill and has charged me boarding fees. the bill is well over 3000.00. the vet said I've abandoned my dog and is keeping all six of my dogs now. I want my dogs and don't feel I should have to pay for forced boarding
