Validity of living trust in different state

I am considering setting up a living trust in California, but am considering moving to Texas in the next 3-5 years. Will this trust be valid once I move to Texas? (assuming I amend the trust when I sell my current house & purchase a new one in Texas).

Your California trust should be valid in Texas as long as your trust complies with Texas trust law.

When you move to Texas you would be wise to have your trust reviewed by a Texas trust attorney and amend it or re-write as necessary.
