Valet Service - Small Claims

I valeted in a hotel parking lot while eating dinner, in Laguna Beach, CA. We left the lot around 9pm and drove home. The next morning I noticed damage to the front end of my vehicle. I called the valet company and they claimed that I should've surveyed my vehicle before leaving their lot and denied my claim. I am scheduled in Small Claims in late Aug. Can anyone help with any advice or cite any prescident involving these types of cases? I thank you in advance for your help. My email is: joeludka@aol.com

Well you have the burden or proving the damage happened when the car was parked. Also generally there are disclaimers that they are not responsible for damage to vehicles. theft, etc..

I don't know how strong of a case you have but you arte not out much if you try to sue them in small claims.
