Business Contracts Vacation trip agreement

I booked a vacation trip for a friend and I and both agreed that I would give the non refundable deposit since she did not have the money that day. Weeks later she quit her job, but she said she will still pay for her part of the trip. Now the balance is due and she doesn't have the money. Should I ask her to give me the whole deposit or split it? How can I get her to pay?

I doubt that you will ever get her to pay.
She has no job.
Therefore, she has limited or very little money.
You could sue her, but what for?
She isn't working, how will she pay?

You may get her to make small payments. If she does, document the payments and offer a receipt.

See if you can substitute another friend and enjoy yourself. It is much more productive than beating another friend, when they are down.
