Vacating A Plea Sentencing, Plea Bargains

    Hi,

    What are the criteria for vacating a plea? I plead no-contest to a misdemeanor beacuse my public defender berated me for ten minutes, I did not want to spend anymore time in jail, and I had no idea of what sort of case I had if I went to trial. Are pleas vacated only for procedural mistakes? Is having poor counsel any reason?
