With hundreds of forums on the internet writing reviews on different topics, its hard to think that all images used have had permission given from the creator. With this in mind I have a website where I am writing reviews on the latest product designs. I only have 2 or 3reviews right now because its only new, but the images of the products i used have been taken from other websites. All the reviews I write are positive articles that put the products in good light, but am I still breaking the law by using these images. Do I have to get permission from all the big companies which could take a while, or do i just add a footnote explaining the origin of the images.
Example: I have also made a video of the Honda Asimo robot, a compilation of video clips Honda have provided for download on their site. I have mentioned at the end of the video where the video clips originated, is that enough?
