Unsafe apartment

My ceiling over my bathtub has caved in and is leaking. There is also a lot of mildew on the ceiling. I live in a subleasing a condo and have complained to my landloard as well as the condo association. It has been 3 months and nothing has been done. Today part of the ceiling fell on my head. What should I do? I'm taking my things out today to put in storage and moving today. I'm going to let my landloard know. Do i have to still give her 30 days notice?

Have you put your complaints in writing to the landlord and condo association? If so, you have documentation of previous attempts to notify them.

I have a copy of the request I made to the condo association. I never wrote my landloard, I called her. The super os the condo lives downstairs from me and I can get a letter from him stating how long the problem existed. I also have pictures from my apt with all the damage.

That would all be excellent to do in case the landlord/management attempts to sue you for breaking the lease early.
