unpaid, unsecured debt

i have an unpaid, unsecured debt of $1200.00 to a local building supply cntr. they are threatening suit. i am low income and self employed, with no assets except my car and my home. if sued what can i expect. can they garnish wages and or income tax returns or worse. help please

Texas does not allow for garnishment of wages (except in the child support cases):
