Dear sir/madam,

I have an unpaid medical bill that has been sent to a law firm for collections. They said they have an affidavit ready to file suit in court for the balance. I've tried everything I can think of but just can't come up with the balance ($774.36) to pay the bill. Will a law firm consider payment arrangements or a reduced settlement, or is there no other option than being sued for the full amount?

Thank you for your help!

Jason

Debt collectors are bullies.

They use fear, intimidation, lies, and threats.

They want one thing, your money.

You don't owe the collection agency a dime.

You may owe someone, but not them.

What they don't want to do, is sue you.

It takes too long, and costs too much.

They rarely do it for debts of less than several thousands.

That isn't the amount in dispute here.

I suggest you stop listening to these devils.

Change your number if you're smart.

It is cheaper than listening to them.

Don't sign or agree to anything.

They won't sue you for a lousey $700!
