Unpaid commissions

I have been selling my product on the Internet for the past 10 years. The website that I have been marketing my products is located in Oklahoma, I am located in Texas. The agreement is that I would receive 50% of the unit price for each unit sold. For the first seven years there were no problems; however, for the past 2 1/2 years, I have not been paid. the reasons given for nonpayment have been everything,including the check is in the mail. The website is still functioning. The the total commissions that I am owed now totals over $30,000. Can I recover any or all of my unpaid commissions, would this be an expensive proposition? How would I go about recovering this debt ?

Unfortunately, due to the high amount, all you can do is to hire a lawyer to try to collect this for you. Negotiate with the lawyer how you will go about regarding recovery and his fees as well.
