I'm 16 years old and I've never been in trouble with the police before. Last night I became extremely upset after being ditched by my boyfriend and decided I would have a few shots. At about 1 AM my boyfriend and his friend showed up, he was upset that I had been drinking so I got into his car and his friend got into his own car with his girlfriend. They told us to follow them to wherever they were going. As we followed them, they made a sharp left turn and blew a stop sign. In an effort to keep up my boyfriend blew the stop sign as well and was pulled over by a police officer. The cop then proceeded to tell me he could smell alcohal on me and having no idea what the consequences would be if I lied I admitted to drinking. He then brethalized me, a .06, and put me in the back of the police car. My boyfriend drove off with a ticket for blowing through a stop sign. The officer then told me I would recieve an underage drinking citation. I have no idea what the consequences are and don't know what I should do. Please help.
