I was arrested in 1999 . I commited a burgalry of a dwelling of occupied resident and burglary. I ws sentence to bootcamp and probation and house arrest. I completed the bootcamp and house arrest but didnot finish the probation. I lost my job and could not pay the restatution that a I owed. Its been more then ten years. Since that happen . When I didnt complete the probation I was send to state prison for 11 months. When sentence the judge gave me a sentence of house arrest probation and bootcamp. Withholding judication. I am wondering was my civil rights taken away from me when I violated probation and was sent to prison for 11months? I really want to get my civil rights back. If taken away from me

You never lost your civil rights.
Everyone retains those.
You lost the right to vote, own a firearm, and pursue certain occupations in some states.
In other states, you're allowed to vote as a convicted felon.

You're a convicted felon in all states.

The only way to get that stain removed totally is an executive pardon. Those are rare.

You can discuss expunction (expungement) with a local attorney.
That's where it all starts.

Don't be surprised when you learn it's not a 100% curative.
