My gradmother died last week. She had a trust. State Calif.
My mother and i are not sure how to go about distributing property, money and assests of the trust.Do we just mail a check to the benafactors there ammount do?Do we need to rcord these transactions?.It is a small estate but not sure how to go about doing it.It is clear as to the amounts to each person but is it as simple as mailing a check for the amount do them?How do we go about transfering title to property? Is it $800,000.00 tax free.How do we show that the estate is under the tax amount when we transfer the assests so benafators are not taxed?
