Greetings, I would like to know as a recipient of TPS based on Sudan since 1997 to present if I could apply to either "Indefinite Parole & Humanitarian Parole" in order to adjust status? I do have a brother that is a US Citizen (but I realize that may take more than a decade and I don't know what my status would be if the TPS expired). I was denied asylum administratively but never pursued it further because TPS was issued at almost the same time.
I would also like to know if Optional Practical Training can lead to a green card?
Thank you.

This is not legal Advice!

Hey,

The information is as follows and i am sure you know.

Sudan: Currently designated through November 2, 2008. Most recent TPS re-registration period from March 8, 2007, to May 7, 2007. EADs are automatically extended through November 2, 2007.
Why would you not want to use your brothers status?????? Surley you are not bothered with the time it takes as the result will be the same in the end.

We can't advise a correct route for you, that would be silly, only you can decide the direction you will take.

Take care and Good luck.

Mark.
