I have a 99 toyota tacoma. They told me to take my truck to a toyota dealership mechanic and get the frame checked out. After the mechanic put a hole in my frame he wanted to total my truck. They would give me $13,900 for it. Why do I have to now have a truck payment. I can't afford a car payment with the economy the way it is. That's why I bought a toyota because of the reputation ( guess I got screwed). What are my options, if any.
