Told easement was on other side when purchased prop

Hello,

I bought a house that has a drainage easement. When it was bought, I was told the easement was on the opposite side of the house. Now that i've looked it up in the registry of deeds, it will prevent me from ever making any additions onto this property, making it a harder resale of this house.

I also have the paperwork from the P+S stating that they said it was on the opposite side of what the plan @ the registry of deeds states.

Do I have any recourse in suing for the devaluation/misrepresentation of the property?
