Title transferred incorrectly?

Hello

Issue: Title Company transferred title to other buyer. Seller "A" was not authorized to sell home (relinquished Trusteeship to Seller "B"). There is a recorded Affidavit stating Seller "A" was no longer Trustee. We signed CAR Purchase agreement with Seller "B".

Shouldn't the Title company have found this recorded Affidavit document and halted sale of home to other buyer?

Everyone has told us that we still have a chance to get the house since we still have a binding contract. Thoughts?

You might want to run the contract by an attorney. Someone may come along here with some other/additional information for you.

(Generally when a contract is involved, it is usually best to get an attorney's opinion.)
