Assault & Battery This time it's gone too far

If I am going to get in a fight, what is the best way to protect myself legally, lets assume that this is imminent and not something that can be avoided.

If getting into a physical altercation is 100% unavoidable you are legally allowed to defend yourself

stay away/and or call the police and report the problem(s) that is causing this "imminent" fight. Fights can lead to alot more trouble than one first excpects and things could happen that you cant take back.

In all my years I have yet to find a 100% guaranteed fight.

If you know there is going to be a fight, yet you show up anyway - ostensibly to fight - don't be surprised if you also get charged with the assault and/or battery offense.

Either avoid the person in question, or get it out of your respective systems and hope the police don't get involved.
