My daughter has 3 children and in the process of a divorce. She met a man who has children and fell in love. He fed her a story about how his ex took him to the cleaners and he lost his landscaping business. He convinced her to make him authorized user of her credit account and take cash advances to help him build the business back up and told her he would put it in her name. He also told her he needed cash quick or he would lose custody of his children. She fell for it all and now over $15,000 later she is stuck with the bills. Is this theft by deception? He has served time for check forgery and theft by deception before. We now know this is how he survives. He has no job! Is there anything we can do to make him pay. Even if he doesn't pay he needs to pay legally for his crime.

Your daughter needs to report this to the cops.

yes you need to call the cop. a man is like that make us , manhood look bad. scumbage likes him to go to jail. to recovery the money which u probablywont that u have to take him to tort court, to sue him. criminal matter you have to file charge and cop the police. it is hard case because it is hearsy , her words against his word.
